How fast should I give propofol?

You're probably giving your propofol too quickly.
Long story short:
- If you give it quickly, you generate a bigger concentration gradient, and there's a faster onset of action
- If you give it slowly, you can avoid much of the haemodynamic compromise seen especially in higher risk and more frail patients
So there's clearly a speedy-stable-sleepy sweet spot to be found.
And I want to find it.
